Job description:

We are seeking an experienced Chief Revenue Officer to join our team. This individual is responsible for driving the company’s growth generation strategy by overseeing sales, marketing, business development, and customer acquisition and retention. Key responsibilities involve creating and executing go-to market strategies setting financial goals, analyzing data for revenue growth, and leading high performing revenue teams. The role requires a strong understanding of sales methodologies, data analytics, strategic and financial planning to drive sustainable revenue growth and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue generation strategy aligned with the company’s vision and goals.

  • Identify new market opportunities, revenue streams, and customer segments to fuel business growth.

  • Monitor the marketplace and provide competitive strategies and tactics.

  • Analyze data to identify trends, forecast revenue, reconcile actual performance to budget, make data-driven decisions to improve profitability and identify incremental growth opportunities.

  • Oversee the sales and marketing teams, ensuring alignment in campaigns, messaging, and pipeline management.

  • Set and monitor KPIs to ensure sales targets and marketing ROI are consistently met or exceeded.

  • Ensure customer experience initiatives support retention, expansion, and overall lifetime value.

  • Oversee customer success strategies to reduce inefficiencies and drive upsell opportunities.

  • Partner with finance, operations, and technology teams to align revenue goals with product development and delivery.

  • Foster a data-driven culture and ensure analytics are used to inform decisions.

  • Build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams across sales, marketing, and customer service.

  • Foster a performance-driven culture that supports innovation and accountability.

  • Report on revenue performance, findings, and plans to the executive team, the board of directors and investors

  • Work with management team to ensure that products align with market needs and that strategies are in place to drive sales and retention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional, polished demeanor; high level of discretion with confidential information.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and standard collaboration tools; familiarity with calendar management tools is essential.
